Being part of New Hope UMC has enriched my life in so many ways. The sense of community and support has been a vital part of my life and the lives of my family.

I was raised Catholic. I am from a big, Catholic family, but when I attended Mass, I felt completely anonymous. Funny story... when I was to be married, the Catholic Church declined to perform my wedding. I looked at some other alternatives that would meet my personal desire to get married "in church." Someone told me to go see the Methodists "because they will marry anyone"! In a lot of ways, this is exactly why I continue to be Methodist.

The bottom line in our church is that everyone is welcome and encouraged to stay, not only to hear God's Word, but also to experience God's love. It doesn't matter if you have belonged to a different church or denomination, or if you have never attended church. All that matters is that you are seeking a relationship with God. I would encourage anyone to come to New Hope UMC to experience fellowship and open your heart to what God has to offer.
